The darkest moment in the life of a theme author: You have just created your first theme, brilliantly putting it together according to the FAQs you found on the Internet, zipping it all up into one lovely package, and what do you do next? How in the world are you supposed to get this thing out to your adoring public? Well, what you need is an FTP archive where you can upload your theme. Once the zip file is stored at an archive, you can give its URL to all your friends and potential customers so they can go get your theme. And you can submit it to any of the countless theme listing sites in the Net. But all this fame must come after you get the theme stored on an FTP site. The DTCC members are compiling a list of FTP archives that accept theme submissions. Here's what we've come up with so far...

• Offer a author competition where authors get paid.
• Offer a 'portal' in the authors look and feel where they get paid for downloads.
• Additional goodies for portal owners - Jokes, recipes, weather, etc.
• Everything is on one submit page.
• Website where files stored on this server can be accessed: They are not accessed through EzThemes; rather, you will be given a direct URL for your file, which will take you to preview/download pages for the file.
• Also the only theme storage place that offers a direct download link of the files so that you can be submitted to CNET, ZDNET and other archive sites who do not allow files to be submitted without a direct link.
• Other important information: EzThemes currently has the quickest response rate of the theme archives, from 24 to 48 hours. Also, themes submitted here will be announced to the network of EzThemes affiliates. Over 100 theme site web masters who will have the option to offer your file from their sites, so that you don't have to take the time to submit it to all of them.
